Volleyball Opens Conference Play with Loss
ACC's volleyball team lost to North Central Michigan College in the opening night for MCCAA Northern Conference by scores of 25-12, 25-18 and 25-12.
For the Lumberjacks, Maddi Sladek had 13 assists and three aces. Paige Moldenhauer had ten digs to head the defense. Alivia Freel was strong at the net with five blocks and five kills.
With the win, NCMC goes to 9-3 overall and 1-0 in the league. ACC, who plays next at Henry Ford College on Saturday, Sept. 20, falls to 1-5 overall, 0-1 conference.
