Lumberjacks Lose Close One at Ancilla

ACC's women's soccer team cam very close to their first win of the season, scoring just 18 seconds into the match and leading 3-1 at halftime, but eventually fell to a late comeback and lost to Ancilla College at Marian University, 4-3.

Jenalee Kotula, Abby Platt and Anna Herbolsheimer all scored goals for ACC. Kotula and Herbolsheimer each had one assist.

Platt and Herbolsheimer each had three shots, two on goal. Kayla Wolanin also had a shot on goal. Emara Clarke had 16 saves.

ACC is now 0-5 on the season, 0-4 conference. The Lumberjacks will host Delta College on Saturday, Oct. 4 at 1:00 p.m.
