Delta Defeats ACC, 79-60
The ACC Lumberjacks closed out the 2024-25 men's basketball season with a 79-60 home loss to Delta College.
The game was tight early with the Jacks taking a 9-7 lead on a Chas Stanek jumper five minutes into the contest, but the Pioneers went on a 20-0 run over the next seven minutes to take a 27-9 advantage and control of the contest. ACC trailed 38-26 at the half and got no closer than 10 points the rest of the way.
Sophomore Robert Williams, playing in his last game for the Lumberjacks, scored 20 points to lead ACC. Derian Williams added 13. Sophomore Xavier Blumberg contributed seven points and nine rebounds. Sophomore Nick Fileccia grabbed seven rebounds.
The Lumberjacks finished the season with a 2-21 record, 1-13 in the conference. ACC will return three of the team's four leading scorers in Derian Williams, Stanek and Jadin Mix for next season.
