Rocket League Remains Undefeated; Six Siege Loses in Touch Match
The Alpena Community College Esports program delivered an impressive performance this week, as its Rocket League squad remained undefeated in a high-stakes double header against Fuel Rising Esports and Mount Union Crimson Esports.
Competing in Rocket League, the Lumberjacks showcased both consistency and control, defeating Fuel Rising Esports 4-1 in the opening match of the night. The Lumberjacks established momentum early, capitalizing on strong rotations, accurate passing plays, and disciplined defensive stands. After dropping just one game in the series, Alpena quickly adjusted and closed out the match in commanding fashion.

Offensive pressure and efficient boost management allowed them to execute control throughout the series. With the sweep of the double header, Alpena Community College continues to build a strong reputation as a rising force within collegiate Rocket League competition.

After freshly coming off their first win of the season, it was a more challenging outing for Alpena’s Rainbow Six Siege roster. Facing Fort Lewis Gold in Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege competition, Alpena battled through two intense maps but ultimately fell short.
The first map was tightly contested, with Fort Lewis Gold narrowly edging Alpena 8-6 in a back-and-forth defensive showdown. Alpena showed resilience and strategic depth, keeping the score within reach throughout the match. However, momentum shifted in the second map, where Fort Lewis Gold capitalized on early round wins and secured a 7-1 victory to close out the series.

Despite the setback in Rainbow Six Siege, the week remains a positive one for Alpena Community College Esports. After Rainbow Six Siege's first win on the season, and the Rocket League team’s undefeated double header highlights the program’s growth and competitive drive.
