Cross Country Teams Close Out Season at Regionals
ACC's men's and women's cross country teams closed out their seasons at the NJCAA District 12 Regionals held in Port Huron.
The Lumberjack men's team finished 15th of the 18 schools competing, led by Ryan Allen whose 27:47 time for the 8k placed 28th in the region. Gabriel Trudeau finished 42nd with a 28:36 and Carter Kosinski was 82nd with a time of 32:31. Harrison Copeland and Charles Renard finished 100th and 106th respectively.
On the women's side, the team did not place because ACC did not have five runners complete the event. Individually Emma Dickins finished a strong freshman season by placing 33rd in 20:54 for the 5,000 meters. Elizabeth Barnhill's time of 21:19 was good for 44th place. Amelia Roznowski and Karissa Carlson finished 55th and 83rd.
Lansing Community College was the team regional champ for the men while Kellogg Community College took the women's honors.
